The Umbra of Earth

The Total Lunar Eclipse happened on 2011 December 10th. Earth’s umbra is clearly shown on the moon. In the set of pictures, it can be seen the round shadow of Earth. At the total lunar eclipse, we can easily find the moon pass through many stars, due to the brightness of the moon decreased a lot. I took these pictures by Bosma 127cm Apo and its set of mount with Nikon D700 camera. After that, I used Photoshop CS4 to compose all the pictures.
